MISS LASU

We have waited patiently for it, prayed for it,screamed for it, fought for it; BUT now its ours for the taking,

 If you are wondering what i am talking about, its the citadel of knowledge and most sought after state university in Nigeria ''LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY" coming out to take its rightful position among other notable universities. Lasu in the recent past has been known to be backwards in their social lifestyle, but the recent administrators, student unionists, the whole school; it obvious that there is a wind of change blowing in the whole school.....this current semester have been characterized with different awareness programs, with different programs set up to reach out to the youths and get them actively involved in taking charge of their life right in the school premises

It all started with Nokia creating a platform for the students to showcase their talent, by creating a platform for them to express this talent. rap battle,dance competitions,and gifts were won......never knew LASU students were that talented!!!!!!.
 It was graced by illy rhymz

    Ill rhymz fascinated all the students.......and from there other shows sprang up, it got to an extent that it was as if there were shows or events or one confeence or the other...taking place right in LASU.
 LASU gained attention gradually and the name of students of lasu started appearing in magazines and newspapers which were not formerly seen before,in such magazines like acada magazine,dynamix mag etc.
LASU was fully involved in the dynamix all youths award that is held yearly in appreciation of youths exceptional ability to create a notch for themselves in Nigeria.
   Nevertheless the most recent and most captivating of all this event thatis now the order of the day and as gotten the students of lasu on a rampage with everybody getting ready in anticipation of this event.
 THE MISS LASU EVENT! who is she? thats the question on everybodies liist, as the school is geared up towards seeing this damsel that will emerge as winner of this year's event.
like seriously am so interested in this..the most interesting part about this event is that the event ain't just about the to be crowned queen but also it serves as an avenue for other talented students to show what they have and trust me lasu peeps no they carry last!
