Chelsea took the lead in the 17th minute, as a wonderful run
from Eden Hazard ended up with his shot hitting the upright, however Oscar
fired the ball back in and Diego Costa tapped home from three-yards out.
Spurs managed to level matters in the 29th minute courtesy
of a fine low effort from striker Harry Kane.
The home side then took the lead on the stroke of halftime,
as Danny Rose slotted into an empty net from close range, after Nacer Chadli's
effort had struck the post.
Andros Townsend then added a third for Spurs a minute from
the penalty spot, after Kane was fouled by Gary Cahill in the area.
It got better for Spurs after the halftime break, as Kane
showed great composure to squeeze a low effort into the far corner for Spurs'
fourth goal.
Chelsea reduced the deficit in the 60th minute, as Eden
Hazard exchanged passes with Cesc Fabregas, before slotting into the far
corner.
Chadli added a fifth for Spurs in the 77th minute, the
Belgian winger collected a pass from Kane before seeing his effort deflected in
off John Terry.
The Blues managed to pull another back in the 87th minute
through a close range finish from Terry, however that was to be the final goal
of the night, as Spurs claimed a memorable win over their London rivals.
Kane is a player to watch out for.
