Eid-el-Fitri: FG declares monday 20th and tuesday 21st August public holidays
In recognition of sallah celebrations by muslims in the country the federal government declared Monday and Tuesday as public holidays, so as to make muslims adequately mark this year's Eid-el-Fitri
The declaration was contained in a statement signed by Mrs Anastasia Nwaobia, the declaration was made on behalf of the federal government urging Nigerians to emulate the exemplary attributes of islam which are love, tolerance and peaceful co-existence amongst the people
The statement also advised Nigerians irrespective of their religious beliefs to use the occasiion for sober reflection and pray for the peace, unity and progress of the nation in its march to nationwood..etc etc...
the major issue here is that Nigerians have the opportunity or reason once again to leave the confinement of work and enjoy themselves.
places that could be visited if you are in lagos to catch extreme fun:

To cut the long story short, lets have fun and drink responsibly if it warrants drinking at all, lets stop all the bombing and let the peace of God reign
